As BTR-Services focuses on the financial industry, we see that the mainframe still has a dominant position as a platform for its back-office support. We think that, due to its stability, robustness and scalability, the mainframe as a back-office platform, will retain that position for a while.

Most of our team members, work with our clients as developer, technical designer or system manager. Through their experience, the legacy development team has the knowledge of several database environments and the traditional programming languages ​​and techniques and tools. (Cobol, PLI,  ….)

Of course, we also anticipated the new trends in development processes and programming. One of the big misunderstandings about mainframes, is that you can’t quickly and easily develop new applications using modern development methodologies. RAD, Agile, sprints, eclipse-based workbench, Mainframe Express(MFE)/Application Master Builder(AMB), Enterprise Generation Language(EGL). All our consultants are trained in it and most of them are using it with our clients.
