About LetterGen

BTR Services NV has developed the LetterGen Suite over the past three years and it is now installed with several clients within the Benelux marketplace.

LetterGen was the logical evolution of VarE-Docs, the renowned document suite, installed at several Tier 1 financial institutions for the management and generation of complex documents.

The development of VarE-Docs started in 1998, with a total effort of 40 manyears. LetterGen is a total rework of VarE-Docs, offering the same and improved functionalities, but with the state of the art technology available today.

Communicating effectively with your clients is the most important thing in any organisation.
Each organisation needs to be certain that all written communication to clients is comprehensive, correct and that it is sent at the right time at the right place either online or using written documents?
LetterGen offers organisations the ability to generate high or low volume documents bringing together data from multiple sources in a real-time environment that it is secure and proven therefore offering organisations the flexibility to change as and when appropriate.

What is LetterGen

LetterGen is a real-time document generator, designed to provide organisations with flexible, high quality, mass volume documents at low cost.

The LetterGen suite contains four components :

  • LetterGen (the document generator) generates open office documents based on an incoming XML message and the definition of templates and business rules existing in the ModelStore.
  • LetterSketch is the tool to create and enhance the models, the data structures and the business rules.
  • LetterTools is a library of supporting tools enabling e.g. PDF-creation, migration to MS word, simple printing. It also includes a development toolkit to help you develop additional tools.
  • LetterData is a tool to enter or adapt the input data for a LetterGen generation request.

LetterGen documents become ‘intelligent’ and ‘dynamic’ by the combined usage of templates, reusable building blocks, business logic and an xml-based data structure.
